Jennifer Lawrence‘s press rep has issued an official statement concerning the leak of her naked photos, confirming that the photos in question are genuine. Obviously, J. Law is not happy about the leak of her personal photos … and her official statement makes that fact very clear. It’s short and to the point … read it in full below.
“This is a flagrant violation of privacy. The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence.”
Ugh. The photos have been making the rounds all evening/night long but thankfully, they are being pulled down from various sites all over the place. Make no mistake, the photos will never go away — NEVER. But, for now, they are being taken offline left and right, primarily because webhosts do not want to get sued. I’m hearing that more photos may be leaked and that there are plenty more photos out there waiting to be released. It remains to be seen how long this photo scandal will last but, unfortunately, these photos will never completely go away. As they are taken down, they will be reuploaded again and again. What a nightmare.
